What Sets the Engagement Apart

Structured, Not Open-Ended

Each programme runs to a defined timeline and produces written deliverables. Engagements conclude with documents your team can act on — not presentations that lose meaning a week later.

Measured Counsel

Advice is framed around trade-offs, not directives. Wrenford presents analysis, surfaces options, and helps leadership teams reach well-considered decisions rather than imposing a single path.

Written Deliverables

Every engagement ends with a written document: strategic brief, make-versus-buy analysis, or IP paper. Clients receive a record of the work and its conclusions that holds up to scrutiny over time.

Hong Kong Market Knowledge

Engagements are informed by direct knowledge of the Hong Kong business environment, regulatory context, and the competitive landscape that regional organisations operate within.

Senior-Level Involvement

Work is conducted by senior consultants, not delegated to junior staff. The person in the initial conversation is the person doing the analysis and facilitating workshops.

Transparent Pricing

Engagement fees are fixed and stated in advance. Clients know exactly what they are committing to before work begins. No billing surprises, no scope-creep invoices.

Begin the Conversation

Most strategic questions become clearer once someone has asked them aloud.

An initial conversation with Wrenford costs nothing. If you have a question about strategy, operations, or intellectual property, we are glad to hear it.

Frequently Asked Questions

How does an engagement typically begin? +

After an initial enquiry, we schedule a short conversation — usually 45 minutes — to understand your situation and confirm that the relevant programme is a good fit. If it is, we provide a brief engagement letter and agree on a start date. There is no commitment until both parties are satisfied with the scope.

Are the fees fixed or can they vary? +

The fees listed are fixed per programme. They cover the full engagement as described. We do not invoice additional hours unless the scope is formally extended by mutual agreement in writing. Clients are never presented with a bill that differs from what was agreed at the outset.

How much time will be required from our team? +

Wrenford handles the analytical work independently. Your leadership team's involvement is concentrated in one or two structured sessions during the engagement — typically a data-gathering conversation early on and a review workshop near the end. We try to be respectful of senior time.

Are engagements suitable for smaller organisations? +

Yes. The programmes are designed for organisations ranging from established SMEs to mid-market businesses. The work does not require a large internal team. In fact, smaller organisations often benefit more from the structured format, as it compensates for the absence of dedicated in-house strategy functions.

Is confidentiality maintained throughout the engagement? +

All engagements are conducted under a mutual non-disclosure agreement signed before any substantive work begins. No information shared with Wrenford during an engagement is disclosed to any third party or used for any purpose other than delivering the agreed programme.

Can engagements be conducted remotely or in person? +

Both are workable. Most analytical work is conducted by the consulting team independently and does not require physical presence. Workshop sessions can be held in person at your offices or via video conference. We will confirm the preferred format during the initial conversation.
